Quality instruction is implemented by the staff, the administration, and the faculty of Trinity Lutheran Christian School. We are committed to providing an educational program that seeks to develop excellence in our students - spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

The curriculum has been selected to achieve these goals within a Christ-centered, Bible-based program. In addition to the traditional core curriculum (Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, History, and Bible), the students are exposed to a wide range of educational experiences through the enrichment courses offered. These enrichment courses include art, music, technology (including iPad implementation), library, Spanish, physical education, and Honors Enrichment.

Instruction here at Trinity is aligned with the National Standards as well as California’s Common Core Standards, where appropriate, and in many cases exceeds the standards. Additionally, the core subjects are on a five-year review cycle that allows for reevaluation of the curriculum based on the school's core values and Expected School-wide Learning Results (aka GOALS). Alignment to California's Common Core Standards is a part of that process.

The Bible is actively taught and integrated into all aspects of school life and all teaching is accomplished from the perspective of a Christian worldview (Matthew 6:33). Each child is challenged and encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to live his or her life according to the principles outlined in God’s Word.

Student success using an academically challenging curriculum, differentiated instruction, small class size, and nurturing environment is evidenced by our high standardized test scores (Terra Nova 3).

Trinity Lutheran Christian School is dually accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).

Our course outlines/descriptions are available to you upon request and will soon be posted on our website.
